[s-cars] Fuel guage level - sending unit questions

My wife's 93 S4 had this problem, started by reading at 3/4 tank and
then wouldn't read at all.

The culprit is a non-coated wire that runs from the bottom of the
sensor to the top, it can fray and break. My fix was to twist it back
together and "try" to solder it. Otherwose you can simply replace teh
wire with equivalent gauge wire.
