Lee,
A word of warning from my experience.
#1.
The insurance companies software they used to write estimates provided
part numbers and pricing for Audi 100 parts not S4 parts. It took me
getting a quote from the dealer before the adjuster would accept the
fact that his computer was wrong.
#2.
Getting a new fender instead of used isn't dependant on your body shop,
but on our insurance contract AND the availability of the used part.
Just don't tell them where to look for a used part, casue we all know
they are hard to find!
#3.
Watch out for depreciation, they may want to depreciate the amount the
pay due to the age of your car.
