[s-cars] NAC (other than my S6 is in the barn) How do I SAFELYdispose of a gas tank?

i can't get excited about dumping unburned hydrocarbons into the

atmosphere.  how about burning the old gas in your lawnmower or
something?

as for the fumes, i'd put the tank outside and hope for a wind that
dissipates the fumes.  otherwise, you can run a fan for a little while.
that's what my friend and i did when we changed his gas tank.
