[s-cars] My car died - HELP!

That may indicate a CPS failure. It will allow the car to run fine when
it breaks (and turn on the check engine light) but you'll never be able
to restart the car. I keep a jumper wire in my glove box and the code
list. It has helped me a couple times now. 1 broken CPS wire and one
dead MAF diagnosed within 2 minutes.

Off the top of my head that's the only thing I can think of, since no
other codes are stored. Don't know about that injector 1 code since the
car didn't run rough. Even if it was an open circuit to the injector,
I'm thinking the car should still be able to start, but maybe not.
Hopefully some other listers have more insight.

I was under the missguided belief you couldn't blink the codes unless
it was running.

DUH!!!

Only found one code 4411

4411 (Blink Fault Code), VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number 01249 Fuel
Injector for Cylinder 1, Open or short circuit Symptom: Engine runs
rough or stalls

Well engine didn't run rough or stall, it ran fine but had teh check
engine light on. It just wouldn't re-start after I shut it down.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Chris
