[s-cars] My car died - HELP!

That depends on what year you have.  Very early '92s (like mine) have
the CPS at the back of the head driven the cam shaft (think 3B
distributor).  It's basically a distributor with no cap or rotor, just
the Hall Effect sender.  These are very easy to get to and replace.
Audi of course decided that was either stupid or too expensive so the
rest of the cars have the CPS situated under the cam pulley and you have
to do a mini-timing belt job to get to it.

Oh great!

How hard is it to replace the CPS and is it mucho denero?
Anyone have a wriet up to test/replace that?

Is the CPS a part only the Urs4 takes?
