I would hook up the VAG-COM to verify the amount. 

The IAT is a very none linear device it is possible that the curve at these 
higher levels may be a little off ... but then again it may not be.

I just have monitored mine in the past and collected data against the VAG-COM 
readings and it looked difficult to get good readings at the elevated 
temperatures due to minute voltage changes ... I didn't spend a lot of time on it and 
it was about a year and half ago. Although I am not sure ... the ECU is 
probably measuring the current going through it rather than using a constant 
current source and measuring the voltage across it.

I would check with Kevin.
