Agreed, that is until you have to park it in the winter; wouldn't want to
miss a powder day. Why does NOBODY ever mention that fact that BMW's "all
wheel" driveline doesn't even come close to the Quattro. Have you never
looked under one of these carsto see how it works and where it's located?
Have you never noticed that they had to raise  the car UP
(counterproductive ) to fit the added on machinery under there. Have you
never noticed that they don't DRIVE like the ULTIMATE driving machine? Where
is the loyalty?

The 530xi is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. It's also
around $56k.

Ugly exterior styling, ugly dashboard, i-Drive and rather
cheap-feeling, plasticky interior.

If you're going to spend that kind of money, I'd get the B7 S4
6-speed, much nicer car.
