[s-cars] Help with the Coil Replacement Alternative Project

Further to my enquiry of a few days ago, I have purchased a coil/plug
connection unit from a late model 1.8t. Part No. 06B 905 115 L. Its
the later "plug-in" still with a rubber grommet rather that the earlier
bolt-in style. The "L" is supposed to be the recall replacement coil
(but still Bremi). The price was CDN$43 list. My price taxes in,
CDN$40. (about US$32). You can see why there is some incentive to
pursue this option. However, I need some help:

There are four pins coming out of the coil . I expected maybe three
pins but not four. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for these 1.8T
cars from the ECU through the POS/PSO to the coils that I can compare to
our older system?

The plug looks something like this:
 _________
( _-_-_-_-__]

I will need to source the proper AMP plug at some point. Any other
options besides the dealer (I guess an autowrecker with a toasted V6
with the same coil style)?
