Yes RS4 is rear biased torsen center and thats a great move forward
for the sport models.

However there is still no electronic control, therefore no active
control of understeer and oversteer.  Also X drive can actively bias
100% power to the rear wheels, even rear-biased torsen can only "allow
up to 85-95% of the power to go to the rear wheels but only if front
axle traction is very small"

Neither system are the "best" - from a complexity standpoint the rear
biased torsen is the winner, but from a pure performance standpoint
I'd prefer the X-Drive type system....
