Ivan-
Not to be nit-picky, but OEM RS4 wheels have to be 18x8 et 25(?).
The 17" wheels to which you refer are either the 9-spoke 17x7.5
"Celebration" wheels as used on the 2001.5 A4 or the '04 A6 2.7T
S-line wheels (I can't remember if those are 17" or 18").
Hartmann wheels along with a few other retailers offer RS4 replica
wheels in 17x7.5" with ET35 offset.
If you decide to use ET43 wheels with a 8mm spacer, make sure the
spacer is proper hubcentric fitment and I would highly recommend a
wheel stud conversion- fitting spacers and wheels with lug bolts is
maddeningly frustrating at times because you need to line up four
pieces (wheel, spacer, brake rotor, hub) to install the bolt rather
than just three. Studs make this much, much easier.
