[s-cars] Wheel offset question

Ivan,
ALthough I have not driven with them on I have temporarily installed one
17x7.5" newer A4 wheel, 45mm offset, on my '92 S4 with a 235/45/17 on it. I
turned through the full range of motion and it seemed fine. The wheels I
finally settled on are 17x8 with a 35mm offset, they sit probably about 3mm
too far outboard for my taste but I am getting used to that and now it looks
pretty good. Incidentally, the stock 16x8 wheel has a 40mm offset. If you
are running a 225 tire width I can't imagine that 43mm is too much given
these data points.

I think that's it. Do you know offset of that wheel? Seller is not good at
explaining stuff - he just said they are RS4 OEM. Luckili they are here in
town - so I will be able to see them before.
What do you guys think will be fair price for set of 5 (with used tires) ?
Ivan
