[s-cars] re: Any experiences with Zender wheels?

Dave,

I don't have any experience with Zender wheels, but the polyurethane rings I have used on a couple sets of wheels. The ones I've had have all worked quite well - tight fitting, tight enough to hold wheel to hub while mounting, the rings never showed any signs of wear. I certainly would not want to use the wheels without the hub centric rings. And it's not something special for Audis - the hubcentric rings are used on most make/models.

I'd use the hubcentric rings before using a universal bolt pattern.

Just wondering of anyone has anything good/bad to say about Zender wheels?

There's a good deal on some new Zender wheels not too far from me which
might be attractive. The price is right, but the big hesitating point
is that rather than the wheel itself being hubcentric, apparently they
come with a polyurethane hubcentric insert/adapter. Anyone ever heard
of anything like this?

Thanks!
-Dave
