[s-cars] Third RF remote lost!

James,

What do you mean by RF from another car, the remote only or the remote and
receiver? The 3 remotes was from other cars, reprogrammed with the
instructions from ... I don't remember where.

When you say cheaper solution, do you mean a more recent Audi system or a
generic one?

Can you use the RF from another car? (i.e. reprogram it?) if so I might have
one for you Vincent. Mine was upgraded to Viper Keyless entry system. You
might also want to consider upgrading, look on Audiworld for the wiring
diagrams on how to use a cheaper e-bay solution... better range, etc.

What year is your S6? If it's a 1997, then you can use the RF 3 button
switchblade style which also opens the trunk. This is what I did.

If you need part numbers, let me know and I'll pull my receipts.
