Anyone else enjoying multiple battery deaths in the wonderful heat this summer, Houston in may case?  Went out yesterday morning to start the RS2'ed S6 after it had been sitting under cover in the garage for about 2 1/2 weeks...dead as a doornail.  Internal battery short??? It was fully charged and fine when last run.  Went to charge up my spare, sitting not far from the front of the car next to a large stack of bricks, and it seems dead, too, although I've got it on the charger right now.  It was last charged up ten months ago, ofur months past the usual duty for me.  

Both are DieHards, which plenty of list members have bitched about, but of which I've never had a failure before 5 years of service, even on the old 3 year old batteries used to get for the urq.  Once they short out internally, they're toast, right?  Anyone out there better for heat than others?  (Almost hate to open this one again). Guess this garage gets hotter than the one in Louisiana.
