[s-cars] Sunroof cover stops?

I did the same thing and I broke the water channel and had to mend that as 
well.

You need to take the sunroof glass off for starters, then you can see what 
the problem is.
First tilt the sunroof and pop off those small cloth accordion looking 
things on each side.   The glass is held on with three #20 torx screws on 
each side.

The sliding cover attaches to the water channel with a clip and a cloth 
belt.   Depending on where it broke off, you may need to take the water 
channel out to re-attach it.   There is a procedure in the Bentley manual to 
take it all apart.     It's pretty easy if you know which screws to take off 
.
If you need it I can cut/paste it and send it to you.

A bit ago I slid back the sunroof cover and when it was all the way
back I heard a pop and now it slides completely back into the roof.

When you open the sunroof completly, after closing it you have to
really fish the sunroof cover back out of the roof, I'm worried one
day its going to go so far back I won't be able to get it back out!

Any BTDT on what could have broken and how heinous it will be to fix?
