I haven't looked into it yet, but if there are interesting diesels
available in other parts of the country in 2006 or 2007 I may be
tempted. My inlaws live in Florida, so title/insurance, at least
for a short while (1 year) wouldn't be a problem.
The key, I think, is service on a new vehicle. Techs in MA
probably would not be trained (or at least fully trained) on
vehicles not available in the local area, and parts availability
may be an issue.
Things to ponder if Audi introduces a turbocharged V6 TDI diesel
putting out 300 horsepower which gets 35 mpg. If they do, and its
a quattro, I'll figure something out :)
My wife's '96 A6 just turned 105K and we're starting to think
about replacing it with something more recent (and giving her car
to my son who turns 16 next summer).
