[s-cars] Wheel bearings

Anyone BTDT on changing out front and rear wheel bearings?  Mine are
starting to whine.

Wheel bearings aren't bad, provided you have, or have access to a press.  You'll need to press the hub out of the bearing, and the bearing out of the strut... and the new bearing in, and the hub back in.  Large circlips locate the bearing in the housing so those need to come out first.  Clean up the housing bore before installing the new bearing.  Press the new bearing in with the old one... don't ever press on the inner race of the new bearing.  That's about it... takes about an hour each side... no conversation... no beer.
