[s-cars] Wheel bearings

What's the real problem, JR? Slow time of the year for you? Just
can't stand it
if the car doesn't need something?
Now if those bearings are rumbling in turns at cruising speed or
heating up (not a
brake pad dragging), then maybe so. But change them for a little
whine? You
must be asking for punishment. Perhaps the extent of this job will
sober you up.
This only makes sense if you are doing other suspension work at the
same time,
i.e., shocks, springs, control arms, bushings, CV joints or boots,
etc. You will need
some new nuts and bolts and swaybar bushings anyway.
Or, if you are just looking for an excuse to put that big brake
upgrade on while
you're there, by all means, go for it.
I would see if one of those fancy $500 on car bearing pullers was
available. Sure
would simplify the job if you are not doing any other suspension work.
Tom '95 S6 advocating do it all at once.
