[s-cars] Wheel bearings

I think whine was actually conservative. Going slow around town the
front (seems to be left side) of the car makes a fairly annoying
intermittent whine (alot like a bearing going bad) turning into a
grating high pitched solid moan on the interstate. This is while going
straight in gear or coasting. Turning seems to have no effect on it.
Going by that description what do you think it might be?

Shucks you mean I have to go and get those new shocks and springs I've
been looking at? Dang.
