[s-cars] Synthetic oil?

Gentlemen:

I have used Mobil-1 and Delvac-1 since 1976. My conclusion is that ANY
synthetic is better than plain motor oil. With the current low pressure piston
rings I have not seen any wear in the engines where I have had  the head off;
S6 at 101K & Mitsu at 88K.  As far as viscosity  goes I'd use 10W30.  I've
tried them all from 15W50 to 0W40 and have not noticed any difference. For
track I suppose I'd use the heavier weights. When I use to run my 911 on the
track I used Delvac-1 which was probably close to 15W50. In the olden days
Mobil didn't list viscosities. Just one more thing to worry about?
