[s-cars] EDL fails (but my new 22's worked great!)

The EDL should stay active at higher vehicle speeds than what the locker
opens up at. Can it build pressure at the front axle also? I don't know
what system is on there.

Yes.

In short, it uses the ABS hydraulic unit (with two extra
valves/solenoids added) to generate pressure (using the ABS motor) to
brake the faster spinning rear wheel until that rear wheel matches (or
comes close to) the other rear wheel.

It's a relatively small cost compared to a locker rear and associated
actuation for said locker. (and normally less warranty risk too)
