[s-cars] RS2 manifold vs. stromung

so RS2 manifold keeps cylinders 1 and 5 cooler right?  does the 3" turbo back exhaust do anything similiar without the RS2 manifold.  Found that it takes much more hard driving to make the turbo glow or get very hot w/ a 3" exhaust, so in that case is the whole engine running cooler?
anyone know if there is any software that is be more benificial to an exhaust system, perhaps custom programming from Minhea?  currently have MTM 1+
