Some factoids from stockville.
Got a chance to put my 95 S6 on the scales recently. With the gas on E
and nobody in the car:

Left Front 	1139 lb		31.05%
Right Front	1107 lb		30.18%
Front axle 	2246 lb

Left Rear	712 lb		19.41%
Right Rear	710 lb		19.35%
Rear axle	1422 lb

Left side	1851lb
Right side	1817 lb

Diagonal LF,RR 1849 lb
Diagonal RF,LR	1819 lb

Gross Vehicle Weight	3668 lbs
