No I didn't read anything about Hummers having Torsens. That's weird.
I'm pretty sure they're air lockers- the onboard air allows for
central tire inflation/deflation as well as locker actuation. I don't
know about the military M998s- they might be different- I can imagine
onboard air would add a lot to the cost and questionable durability in
battlefield environments, so the milspec version might have a
different setup.
