Paul -

I haven't yet installed them but I've powered them up with an extra
battery and some jumper wires. It's freakin' loud!!!!!!!! (I do not
doubt the claims of 138dB in this case)

Mounting it in the R1200GS will require some welding, though other
owners report that it will mount in the original horn's location. I
just haven't gotten around to it.
