Sounds like its cutting off the fuel pump because the ecu thinks it is
in an over boost situation.

Check and see if you have any codes

Check for boost leaks

Check the maf connector, a dirty connection can cause this problem. I
had this problem and remedied it by using a liberal amount of
electrical contact cleaner.

A bad MAF can cause this problem
