Lee,
I usually park the compressor inside the RHS fender and mount the 
trumpets under the RHS headlight.

I am suprised that there is not much room in your A6 2.7tt engine 
compartment. I dropped the belly pan on my Allroad 2.7tt and found ample 
space in the engine compartment. I wonder are they that different?...

My e-code Xenons are on their way to me as well and should be here on 8 
April. At which time the DOT Xenons will go out (possibly on e-bay), and 
the e-codes will go in.
