[s-cars] CD-Rs in the URS4 factory CD changer

I've only used the cheapest of CD-R cd media and never had a problem
with my stock CD changer. I've recorded both fast and slow with older
and newer CD drives/computers and software.
Have you checked them against another CD player?

Subject: [s-cars] CD-Rs in the URS4 factory CD changer
I can burn CDs and they do play in my CD changer. However, most of the
songs have very loud static and distortion, and sometimes they will play
and sometimes it will hang on a song that had worked before and not
play. Then next time it plays again. Regular CD albums play fine.
Clearly it's having trouble with the burned media. Does anyone have a
recipe for burning a CD and playing it in these old changers? Anyone
found a particular brand of CD-R that works better? Or found a certain
software package or burn rate that works better?
Thanks,
JR
