[s-cars] CD-Rs in the URS4 factory CD changer

Just as another data point:
I too have had no problems to speak of that are unique to CD-Rs.
The player is frustrating to use, though since the CD player skips at the
slightest provocation on any CD, burned or factory. On Detroit-area roads,
provocations abound. :-( The problem is worse as the track number
increases on the CD, as well. I've always attributed this to the fact that
the higher track numbers are further from the hub of the CD, thus there is
more room for the media to vibrate against (or away from) the laser.
