i drove an E46 M3 with SMG, a V8 S4, and a cadillac CTS-V with
my friend this weekend. my friend is a highly euro-centric 5-time
BMW owner who is on his third or fourth E46 (M3 with SMG). he
hates american cars.

guess which car he liked the best. he really liked the V8 S4, but
he absolutely loved the CTS-V. now he's mumbling about selling the
M3 and getting the CTS-V. it's like driving a corvette Z06 with four
doors.
