He wants to wait for a Ferrari? For what? The car to buy, in my humble
opinion, is a used 360 Modena F1.
The performance, the sound, the feel, the look, and even more impressive,
the comfort and reliability, are unmatched. And ones is great shape with
low-ish miles are in the $125K range.

Sorry for the NAC, but you dorks here are such a great resource pool of
insanity it's fun to hear what ya'll might have to say on the matter.
A close friend of mine is considering a sillypurchase. Say it was you.
You had say $100-125k burning a hole in your pocket to buy something
completely obnoxious, impractical, outlandish. What would it be?
Him, he's a 'new car kind of guy' (major set back there IMO), he's
toying between ///M6, SL55, Aston Martin Vantage, and GT3. He narrowed
it down to maybe the latter pair. I of course immediately retort GT3.
I also tell him to STRONGLY consider an F550M, their fallen values make
them a virtual steal these days. Alas, he is adamant he needs to 'wait'
in life for his Ferrari purchase, will not happen this time around (long
story). I then quickly point out GT2's can be had for similar $ these
days if you know where to look. Hmmm...
Nice quandary to find oneself in huh? Bestest part is, yes, of course,
I get to WHOMP all of what he considers, then ends up with. Yes, that
does not suck. Also interesting is many of you will likely 'see it'
somewhere somehow somepoint "this summer" heh heh.
So then, I ponder... what 'else' can that $100 or so k buy him?
Hmmm... what say you?
-Paul no $100k to blow here d'oh but nice to have friends that do K.
ps. I await the millisecond Baloney reply of Audi LeMans... that much
is obligatory I know
