[s-cars] Nutz again revisited

*sigh*

OK Bob, your plaintive cries have prompted me to get off my butt and fetch
my Bentley from the workshop.

>From what I see, this is the power circuit to your low beam lights (1995
S6):

1. the battery is connected directly to power buss 30 with a 12 mm2 black
wire
2. Power buss 30 is connected to power buss A32 with a red 6 mm2 wire
3. Power buss A32 connects to the ignition switch at terminal 30 with a 2.5
mm2 red wire.
4. Ignition switch terminal 75 connects to T14a/2 on the headlight switch
with a 2.5 mm2 yellow/black wire.
5. Headlight switch T14a/8 connects to power buss A51 with a 2.5 mm2 yellow
wire.
6. Power buss A51 is connected to the low beam headlight fuses with two 1.5
mm2 yellow wires.

Based on what you've outlined, I'd pull the ignition switch connector and
check for power at T30. If you have power there, work your way downstream to
the fuses to see where the problem is. If you don't have power at T30,
you've got a wiring or connector problem in the main power busses and wires.

Let us know how you make out!

That light at the end of the tunnel now seems to be an onrushing train. :-(

OK - more results:

I replaced the main headlight switch assembly which includes both the main
head light switch, the turn signal stalk/switches and the dimmer switch as
well as the cruise control switches. BTW, I have such a used switch for
sale in good working condition. Part # 4D0 953 513 C 01C. Retail cost,
new, $120 plus s/h.

No joy.

Replaced the electrical portion of the ignition switch.

No joy.

Repeated the test at the fuse box checking for voltage at the fuse. No
change. Power is still not getting to the light relay trigger
connectors. That's not terribly surprising since the lights aren't working.

Now what? It really would be nice to be able to drive my car after dark.
