[s-cars] Lowest octane for road trip?

Bad idea.

Let's see,  400 miles each way, 800 mi / 20 mi/gal = 40 gallons.

40 gallons * 20 cents/gallon  = EIGHT BUCKS!

I would pay eight bucks to be able to pass the 20-40 people who get in my
way during the trip!

Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way.

Driving to Rochester NY from NH on Wednesday.  This will be the first
time I've taken my car beyond 100 miles since I bought it.  I was
thinking that if I can resist the temptation of 23lb boost for 1 day,
maybe I could run 87 or 91 and save a couple bucks.

Good idea?  Bad?  Thoughts?
