[s-cars] How much boost?

Tony,

That sounds pretty high to me. For MRC stage 2 you should be seeing 22-23
psig maximum boost levels. You might possibly see a spike up to 24 or even
25 after reaching 23 psig and then suddenly snapping the throttle shut but
that, if it happens at all, should be purely transitory. 27 psig is too
high for consistent operation. Your stage 2 software is designed for the
22-23 psig level. Consistently higher boost levels will likely produce
lean mixtures which, with prolonged exposure, could result in excessively
high exhaust temperatures leading to things like burnt valves, etc.

Do you have your wastegate perch screwed down? If so, it might be a good
idea to back it off some. Also one can ask just how sure are you of the
accuracy of that digital gauge? A mechanical gauge might be a better idea.

And you are right. 100 mph gets there pretty quickly. So does 130. :-)
