Never, never use a helicoil for anything structural, expecially anything
that might take a bending moment.

Subject: [s-cars] Speaking of helicoils
One of the holes in my left rear hub is stripped...the lug bolt
spins freely.
Has anyone been successful using a helicoil in this application,
or do I need to replace the hub?
If the latter, what's the approximate cost of a rear hub for a
late model (C5) Audi?
Thanks,
Lee
