What's happening is that the hook is off the latch mechanism deeeeeep inside 
the door halves.
Rather large PITA to fix with out separating the two doors.
Wanna guess how I know ?

Thanks!  Actually trying to see what happened inside my
friend's 100CS door that is not allowing the inside door
relase lever to work. AND, I might as well learn how to
dump off the Blowse in my S while I'm at it....
