Bill,
The plastic x-over pipe has a metal ring inside where the MM hose clamps down on it. This has been known to become dislodged and the plastic pipe then disorts and pressure can escape. I believe this was reported by another lister a few weeks ago.
Steel pipe from early model year is the way to go. I purchased one from another lister that had FMIC'd their car.
Did this to my car a few weeks ago.
