[s-cars] air leak....poor performance

I chased this around and around last year, and it turned out to
be the plastic crossover pipe, which was split lengthwise on top
of the pipe. I couldn't see the split until after I removed the
crossover pipe. I had put on Samco hoses, and had double checked
the metal insert in the end of the plastic crossover pipe. All
looked good, but it still leaked when boost was over about 10 PSI.
I put on one of the aluminum replacement pipes, and it did the job.
Expensive as I recall, but it holds up.
