[s-cars] URS4 vs Biturbo S4

Hey Northrup,

No problem at all. What I was referring to was what someone else
actually already highlighted- blown K03 turbos over a pretty damn short
period of time. The motors as I know are fairly robust and have
certainly proven can take the abuse us audiots love to pressure them
into.

I should have used a better description of what I was trying to say. I
can say I have VERY limited experience w/ those motors and they are
mostly through a close friend of mine who had the first year of the
NeuS4 in the states- ('99, '00 was it?) which was put to a very high
level of tuning and abuse and those little hairdryers pretty much gave
up the ghost after ~15k miles. was pretty pathetic to see and being
competent wrenches among us, we were confused, stuck, and in awe of how
difficult it was to get anything apart to even get to the turbos!- let
alone work on them.

Those on the list w/ these rides should take my place on commenting on
their motors and let me stick to what i know. ;) The true focus of my
post was on commenting and giving backing up the 20vt cars' motors for
their strength and endurance.

Thanks for bringing that up and having me clarify.

Sincerely,

matt ludwig.
