I had to use what was available. TEC usually stocks the T3 flanges in mild 
steel and SS. At the time I was assembling parts the mild steel were back 
ordered. In addition, they had a mandrel bent 45 degree 2 1/2" SS pipe in stock so 
the choice was easy. TEC provided the machining of the flanges to accept the 
pipe as well as the flute machining to make everything flow.
