[s-cars] East Coast Cracking Clearcoat on UR S wheels or any others

S-Heads,
A buddy of mine just purchased a car with some S6+
wheels on it. The car just arrived from the east coast
and the rims look horrible. Lot's of spider cracks all
over them, yellowed, blah blah.

Long story short, the seller says they were always
that way and normal for east coast cars. Hmmmm. I live
on the other coast and have NEVER seen a rim look like
this.

So now the $64k question. IS THIS NORMAL.
