Doug / Tim-
More likely than not you reassembled the latch to the cable incorrectly,
as I did on yes all four doors during my CF swap. The bare metal clip
that secures the cable has to straddle the assembly on one side, not
very obvious when you reassemble until someone points it out to the
uninformed (me). Geniuses. Thanks for making me feel in good company.
Keith, still got that nifty little drawing of the circlip orientation
(as it relates to the assembly / cable) you can share with our pour
souled friends? Now THAT was f'n funny. Hey it helped!
I still have one door to address, no biggie though it's not as if Tyler
(2.5) is gonna need it anyway 8-).
Once you see what you did wrong it'll make sense. 10 minutes (that I
don't have) to fix.

Well, the other half was commenting on it a few days ago, so I put it
in. Last night, my daughter could not open the door from the inside.
Sure nuff, pull on the handle but no activity at the latch. Felt like
the proper resistance on the handle though.
Just pulled the handle out hoping that the cable had come unhooked,
but no dice. Looks like I'll have to tear the whold damn thing apart
again to gain access to the latch linkage system and see what is not
right.
If anyone has an alternative suggestion, I would love to hear it now.
Baring that, if anyone wants photos of the inside of an S6 front door,
let me know.
