I wouldn't do it. I would (and have) bite the bullet and buy a new 
wheel.

I don't trust a wheel that's been compromised. It's the only thing 
holding the tire to the car and to the ground.

I also, by the way, now buy at least 5 matching wheels when I buy 
a set...and I'm picking up a sixth gunmetal SL right now...since 
one popped up. The gunmetals are more difficult to find...and may 
be NLA, so I figure I'd grab it.
