[s-cars] Rear caliper rebuild process

I have a rear caliper that is constantly rubbing, it killed my slotted rotor all most to the point of not being able to feel the slots, I can hear it grinding at slow speed without touching the brake.  This rebuild sounds easy enough, is that all there is to fixing a stuck caliper?  will this process fix my problem?  should I rebuild or replace?
