Rich,

I just went through a crazy starting fiasco with my car.  Basically
the "problem" ranged anywhere in simplicity (and price!) from putting
fuel cleaner through the car to replacing the ECU.  After a month (and
3 garages later) it turns out it was the ignition switch.  Just keep
it in mind...
