[s-cars] S6 starting problem-ECU fuse

Not a far-fetched idea at all, Mark.   All this trouble started  
(methinks) from a
bad battery, and then bad habits to compound the problem.
Rich, you've been connecting and un-connecting the negative cable to
what battery.   Last report, you didn't have a functioning battery.

There was a thread and a link to a web site for an ECU supplier if that
becomes necessary.  Bob Myers, do you still have the link ?  My browser
dumped all mine.   If the ECU is fried, it must be very near the  
input, because
most of the circuit should not have power,  and certainly not power  
to external
circuits.
