Doug,

Just a correction, you want about 0.0 to -0.5 camber, and POSITIVE caster,
(steering axis is tilted back at the top, causes a bit of trail like
shopping cart
front wheels) which improves centering and on center feel. Also causes the
outside front wheel in a turn to have abit (really minor on a strut
car) better roll
camber, since in effect it adds a litttle negative camber when the
wheel is turned.

A majority of dive and roll is caused by the car's center of mass
being above the
roll axis, which is mostly due to the sedan nature of our beasts.
Lowering springs
help a little by lowering the center of gravity, and their stiffness
helps by providing more resistance to the weight transfer. (this is
why I'm suggesting the H&R S6+). HOWEVER, there is ALWAYS more weight
transfer than in a lower CG car, which means it'll never transition
like a sports car. That the STi and the Evo do so well in the handling
department is partially due to the fact that they do run stiff springs
for what they are. But FWIW, Miss Piggy will never be an Evo. Taka's
suggestions on sway bars (yup, I've been thinking along that route)
should be taken to heart, and one other thing that mayhelp in the roll
department without getting too hammered on ride would be urethane
anti-sway bar bushings (don't think I could put up with them for the
remaining bushings, even my roads aren't THAT smooth). Just beware
that stiff springs don't do too well on small high frequency pavement
problems such as the ridges as I've described. If you have alot of
them on your regular roads, then go for the Eibachs, they'd be better
than the S6+ springs.

HTH,
