Manny,
8 years? I don't think you have a problem, other than thinking maybe
one of Pizzo's dates is in your car. :-)
I just wanted to indicate that it's probably the pump making the noise.
There may be a restriction in a line or filter where some foreign
material
is slowing return of fluid to the pump, or internally in the pump.
Usually,
a fluid change and filter cleaning can help this.
