[s-cars] Changing Rear Diffy Seals

I changed both rear diffy seals and would like to report the
following. Make sure you have a triple square 10 mm male socket for
taking off the bolts on the axle. They are not easy to find. I was
not able to find one locally and had to order it in. I didn't have
problems getting the axles to break loose that Fred noted. Also the 6
mm allen head screw that holds the gear into the side of the diffy has
an extreme amount of torque on it for such a small fastener. (Bentley
says to torque to 7 ft lbs and then turn 1/4 turn more which I would
guess to be about 40 ft lbs by the end of the 1/4 turn)
Thanks to Fred for his excellent writeup on changing these rear seals.
I took the opportunity to change the e-brake cables at the same time
since I had the exhaust off. I would like to get my hands on the dolt
who decided that the best place for these cables is on top of the
drive shaft.
regards
Tim
