Personally, when I request payment by Paypal, I am very explicit and state 
that the buyer should NOT send money via Paypal until I acknowledge that I 
am ready to ship. I then follow up with an email that the item has been 
shipped and when they should expect receipt.

Folks STILL send me Paypal paymregardless.
Paypal doesn't give me the option of "accepting'" the payment - you 
'"receive" it.

I even had someone get pissy about me not sending them an item.
Turns out they mispelled my email address....some lucky person got a paypal 
payment, not me.
